Ch. 1 – 9
Cold grief hardening into resolve
A kind-hearted boy returns home to find his family taken by a demon and his sister changed into one. Refusing to give up on her humanity, he trains for years under a reclusive master and survives a brutal trial on a wisteria-covered mountain to earn his place among the slayers.

Ch. 10 – 13
Murky unease, first blood
The newly minted slayer takes his first mission: girls are vanishing from a small town at night. Beneath the earth waits a demon who slips between hidden swamps, and the fight forces the young swordsman to weigh vengeance against mercy for the first time.

Ch. 14 – 19
Neon dread in a crowded night
In the electric glow of a modern city, the slayer crosses paths with the progenitor of all demons — hiding in plain sight among ordinary people. He gains unlikely allies who study demons in secret, and the true scale of his enemy becomes terrifyingly clear.

Ch. 20 – 27
Disorienting, rhythmic, strange
Rooms spin and gravity turns sideways inside a mansion ruled by a demon whose drums rearrange space itself. Here the slayer gains two companions — a terrified boy who fights fastest asleep, and a wild beast of a fighter raised by mountains.

Ch. 28 – 43
Claustrophobic dread, threads everywhere
On a mountain wrapped in web and fog, a false family of demons hunts the slayers sent against them. Outclassed and broken, the trio survives only when two of the Corps' strongest arrive — and the boy's plea to spare his demon sister puts him on trial before them.

Ch. 44 – 53
Soft light, quiet growth
After judgment is passed and wounds are stitched, the trio recovers at a gentle estate run by the Insect Hashira. Recovery becomes training, training becomes breakthrough, and the slayer learns the constant breathing that will carry him through everything to come.

Ch. 54 – 69
Dream-lit warmth ending in grief
Two hundred passengers sleep aboard a night train that has become a demon's body, its dreams a trap with no exit. The Flame Hashira burns brighter than the danger — until a stronger devil arrives at dawn, and the slayers learn what it costs to stand against the Upper Ranks.

Ch. 70 – 99
Gaudy lanterns, savage stakes
Beneath the lanterns of a pleasure district, a demon has ruled unseen for decades. The flamboyant Sound Hashira leads the trio undercover into a battle that tears the night apart — two demons sharing one life, and a fight that pushes everyone past their limits.

Forge-fire against creeping horror
In a hidden village of smiths, the slayer seeks a new blade and finds two Upper Rank demons instead. The Mist Hashira remembers who he is, the Love Hashira fights with impossible grace, and a demon's sister steps into sunlight to save a human life.

Ch. 128 – 136
Held breath before the storm
The calm before the last war. Every pillar of the Corps drills the rank-and-file for the battle they all know is coming, while the enemy closes in on the one bloodline he has hunted for a thousand years. The stillness ends the night the master's estate lights the sky.

Ch. 137 – 183
Vertigo, sacrifice, ancient grudges
The entire Corps falls into a fortress with no floor and no sky — an endless shifting maze ruled by the enemy's strongest. Every hallway becomes a duel that has been centuries in the making, and not everyone who enters the castle will leave it.

Ch. 184 – 205
Desperation resolving into light
The progenitor of demons is dragged into the open, and the last battle becomes a race against the horizon: survive until dawn, and sunlight finishes what blades began. Everything the story has built — every bond, every loss, every inherited flame — burns in the final hour before morning.

The Sword's Language
Total-concentration breathing floods the body with oxygen, letting a human briefly match a demon. Every style descends from the first — Sun — branching into elemental schools, each shaped by the temperament of its wielder.
Nine Pillars
The nine strongest swordsmen alive, each the master of a breathing style and each holding up the Corps like the pillars of a roof. Becoming one requires either fifty demons slain or a Lower Rank defeated alone.
The Twelve Kizuki
All demons descend from a single progenitor, and the strongest bear his blood most thickly. Six Upper Ranks who have not changed in a century, six Lower Ranks who are replaced like broken tools — and numbers carved into their eyes.
The Sun Rises
A story about grief that refuses to become cruelty, and strength that exists only to protect. What the slayers pass down is not a sword style — it is the stubborn belief that no one is beyond saving.
